This product is like-new, and has only been used for display purposes. This is the current Scout for 2023, and comes in the original packaging.

The Skyscape Scout now features new longer 3mm cord rear guy outs (not shown in photos) which provide improved interior height at the foot and increased ventilation at the rear. Also new is the addition of reflective guy outs all around.

The Six Moon Designs Skyscape Scout is the most economic ultralight shelter on the market, offers a great feature list, and is light and roomy no matter what weather Mother Nature sends your way.

The Scout utilizes 190T polyester fabric, a light material used in literally millions of tents, for both the floor and canopy allowing the tent to be both lightweight and affordable.

The hybrid dual wall design means that 80% of the canopy is separated from you by a mesh wall, keeping the wet canopy away from you. The dual trekking pole structure is easy to setup and provides excellent stability in windy or snowy conditions. The dual vestibules can be pitched in a variety of ways to allow greater protection or better ventilation depending on the weather. The side entry door opens wide to allow easy access and the more than 100 inch floor length will accommodate just about everyone.

Is this product seam sealed?

No. Our shelters do not come seam sealed.

We recommend Seam Grip + Sil Seam Seal for siliconized products, and Seam Grip + FC for non-siliconized products. We do not offer seam sealing service at this time. It is important to note that seam sealed products are not eligible for return.
